Our BioProbiotic culture is a blend of food-grade digestive microbes designed to improve gut performance and animal health. Ingesting a large population of beneficial digestive microbes crowds out and outcompetes the pathogens that try to inhabit the animal's gut. Since 70% or more of the immune system comes from gut health, a stronger gut performance makes for a healthier animal. Results include:
- Increased digestive efficiency (feed utilization)
- Increased productivity/performance
- Greater health and less disease
- Reduced feed consumption (due to increased utilization)
- Reduced mortality
The presence of the BioProbiotic in the digestive system of the cattle will greatly reduce or even eliminate the presence of e-coli and salmonella in the manure, because there won't be space for the pathogenic microbes to reproduce in the digestive system. The predominance of the beneficial microbes will also reduce methane emissions because those microbes won't have a foothold in the digestive tract either.
Note: See our BioDigest product to improve the quality and benefits of your waste collection ponds.
We have used BioProbiotic extensively with newborn and young calves to prevent and even reverse scours. We have also mixed it into the feed ration of both cattle and pigs with significant beneficial results (both health and growth).

| Calves (on milk) | 1/2 - 1 tsp/head/day | Start at smaller amount and gradually increase | Mix in milk |
| Calves - sick (scours) | 1 oz with milk 2x/day | Continue at therapeutic rate until scours disappear, then return to maintenance rate | Mix in milk |
| Calves - weaned | 1-2 oz/head/day | Start at 1 oz and gradually increase to adult rate | Mix in ration |
| Swine | 1 quart/ton of feed | Smaller pigs will eat less and thus get less culture | Mix in ration |
